On Sunday, April 27, 2008, our 9U CAVS faced a team in CYDL that they had not played before. The 9u CAVS are playing up in the 10 and 11 year division. The Bruins were at least a foot taller than our guys and it was apparent that most were at least a year or two older as well. Despite those obstacles, the 9U team were successful in beating this team by eight points.

Our guys played almost effortlessly and were not even allowed to do what they do best, PRESS! Had they been able to do so, the Bruins would have been blown out of the water. Everyone played great defensively, which allowed DJ McDonald to put some points up on the board.

This team is the one to watch in the future. They are on their way to accomplishing many great victories!
